At Drivetrain, we are building a product to help SaaS companies scale their business - by helping them plan better and monitor their execution according to the plans. Drivetrain is like an "Air traffic control tower" for your business.

Drivetrain is founded by two ex-Googlers who have built and scaled large businesses. Alok was a partner at Elevation Capital, a prominent VC firm, and before that CEO of Freecharge, CPO & COO of redBus, and Global Product Lead at Google. Tark was VP of Engineering at Freshworks, where he led ML and Data Platform teams and launched Freshsales. Prior to the same, he founded a company that was acquired by Freshworks. Both the founders have deep experience in the SaaS business model and have seen the pain point in need of Drivetrain at close quarters.

About the role

Drivetrain is looking for a Content Marketer to join our team. This role requires You to have a deep understanding to produce compelling, relevant content that supports thought leadership, engagement, traffic, and drive acquisition as well as customer retention, for SaaS companies, and for technical audiences. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and eagle-eyed editing skills are absolutely required. Being a passionate team player is a non-negotiable to succeed in this role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build a deep understanding of global best practices for a content strategy that category-defining products adopt

  • Work directly with the leadership team to define the content strategy to establish Drivetrain's thought leadership in the space.

  • Build a deep understanding of how SaaS business models work and come up with original content insights.

  • Research and write engaging short- and long-form content for demand generation campaigns, sales enablement kits, blog, and other outlets targeted at key personas.

  • Explain highly technical, complex concepts and features succinctly and in a way that resonates with both C-level buyers and business leaders.

  • Review, edit, and improve content written by others based on Drivetrain’s style guide.

  • Be a champion for the Drivetrain brand: Represent our tone of voice and values across the content you write. Adherence to brand guidelines is important to ensure consistency across campaigns.

  • Ideating & selecting SEO-driven, top-of-funnel content. 

  • Work closely with partners to manage Drivetrain’s website.. 

  • Own entire execution of strategy with help of in-house and contractual content writers.

  • Manage social media channels.

  • As an early team member, you’ll help shape our company culture, practices, and product.
